Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic the government has released the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) which will provide interest-free loans of up to $40,000 to Canadian small businesses and not-for-profits.
Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS)
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic eligible employers may be eligible for a subsidy of 75% of employee wages retroactive from March 15, 2020 into 2021.
10% Temporary Wage Subsidy
As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic a 10% Temporary Wage Subsidy is available for Employers for three months that will allow eligible employers to reduce the amount of payroll deductions required to be remitted to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). This is a separate program from the CEWS. However, if claimed the CEWS will be reduced by the 10% subsidy that is available.
